About Us.
1st Garforth Scout Group is a very active Group within Templars District and part of the Central Yorkshire County.
We currently have six sections:
2 Beaver Sections. >> Age 6 - 8 >> More>>
2 Cub Sections. >> Age 8 10 >> More>>
2 Scout Sections. >> Age 10 15 >> More>>
Each of the sections cover a different age group and provide a full scouting programme for boys and girls within that age group. Boys and Girls move through the sections until reaching the age of 15 at which time they can move onto the District Explorer Section. Check out our Sections pages for the your age group to see if you would like to join.
We meet in our own Scout HQ built by our own Scout Leaders (Of the Time) and purchased with funds provided by many within the community.
We are still very active at raising funds for the maintenance of our HQ and Equipment and you will see from our Friends page that many within and outside the Garforth Community have helped us to progress over the Years. We are always on the look out for sponsors for our many projects, if you or your company can help us please contact us.
